The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Thursday, September 22, 2022 in remembrance.
Professor Emeritus Patrick (Pat) McGeer passed away on August 29, 2022. Dr. McGeer taught in the Department of Psychiatry (Faculty of Medicine). He was honoured with the Order of Canada in 1995 and received an honorary degree from UBC in 2000.
