Billie Housego

The BC, Musqueam and Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Thursday, June 13, 2024 in remembrance. Associate Professor Emerita Billie Housego passed away May 9, 2024. Dr. Housego served in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, and Special Education (ECPS).

Filomena Rita De Grandis

The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Thursday, May 09, 2024 in remembrance. Professor Emerita Filomena Rita De Grandis passed away April 28, 2024. Dr. De Grandis served in the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies.

Daniel Kahneman

The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Thursday, May 09, 2024 in remembrance. Honorary Degree Recipient Daniel Kahneman, D.Sc., h.c. passed away March 27, 2024. Dr. Kahneman was a faculty member in the Department of Psychology.

John Xiros Cooper

The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Thursday, May 09, 2024 in remembrance. Professor Emeritus John Xiros Cooper passed away March 26, 2024. Dr. Cooper taught in the Department of English.  

Charles Krzysik

The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Thursday, May 09, 2024 in remembrance. Charles Krzysik passed away March 25, 2024. Mr. Krzysik was a current staff member (Information Technology Manager) in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences.
