The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in remembrance.
Honorary Degree Recipient His Highness the Aga Khan IV, LL.D. h.c. passed away on February 4, 2025. His Highness was awarded an honorary degree in an historic joint conferral ceremony by the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University in 2018.
