Peter Boothroyd
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Monday, July 21, 2025 in remembrance. Professor Emeritus Peter Boothroyd passed away on June 23, 2025. Professor Boothroyd served in the School of Community and Regional Planning.
Robert (Bob) Ellis

Professor Emeritus Robert (Bob) Ellis passed away on June 22, 2025. Dr. Ellis served in the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences, Faculty of Science.
Arun Verma
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Monday, July 21, 2025 in remembrance. Associate Professor of Teaching Arun Verma passed away on June 16, 2025. Dr. Verma was a current faculty member and served in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
