Associate Professor Emeritus Robert (Bob) Fitzsimmons passed away on February 3, 2026. Dr. Fitzsimmons served in the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Land and Food Systems.
Stephen Lewis

Honorary Degree Holder Stephen Lewis, L.LD., passed away on March 31, 2026. Dr. Lewis received an honorary degree from UBC in 1991.

Professor Emeritus Stephen Pond passed away on March 23, 2026. Dr. Pond served in the Department of Oceanography, Faculty of Science.
Peter Grantham

Professor Emeritus Peter Grantham passed away on March 20, 2026. Professor Grantham served in the Department of Family Practice, Faculty of Medicine.
