Clarence de Silva
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (temporarily relocated to the East Mall Entrance and Plaza at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre) will be lowered on Thursday, August 6, 2026 in remembrance. Professor Emeritus Clarence de Silva passed away on June 26, 2026. Dr. de Silva served in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Applied Science.
Keith Bunnell

Librarian Emeritus Keith Bunnell passed away on June 22, 2026. Mr. Bunnell served as a Reference and Collections Librarian with UBC Library.
