The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, March 8, in remembrance.
Dr. Elizabeth Rose Charlie, OBC passed away on March 4, 2018. She was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Laws by UBC in 1990 in recognition of her contributions to the struggle for social justice for all indigenous peoples.
