The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, May 25, in remembrance. Dr. Michael Bliss, OC passed away on May 18, 2017. Dr. Bliss was conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws by UBC in 2007 to acknowledge his contributions as a writer, historian and public intellectual.
