The BC and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, May 25, in remembrance.
Dr. Charles R. Kerr passed away on May 19, 2017. Dr. Kerr was the founder and former head of the cardiac electrophysiology program at UBC and St. Paul’s Hospital. Dr. Kerr was a pioneer in the field of arrhythmia. He did groundbreaking work with the utilization of pacemakers and defibrillators to help patients manage arrhythmia.
