Derek Applegarth
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) are lowered Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in remembrance. Professor Emeritus Derek Arnold Applegarth passed away on July 28, 2021. Dr. Applegarth taught in the Department of Pediatrics.
David Hardwick
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Thursday, May 20, 2021 in remembrance. Professor Emeritus David Hardwick taught in the Faculty of Medicine, Departments of Pathology and Pediatrics for over 25 years, joining the Quarter Century Club in 1996. Dr. Hardwickreceived an honorary degree from UBC in 2001.
Cornelia Oberlander
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Thursday, May 27, 2021 in remembrance. Dr. Cornelia Hahn Oberlander C.C., O.B.C. passed away on May 22, 2021. Dr. Oberlander received an Honorary degree from UBC in 1991 and was an Honorary Professor at the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
Judith Mogan
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Thursday, May 27, 2021 in remembrance. Assistant Professor Emerita Judith Mogan passed away on May 12, 2021. Asst. Prof. Mogan taught in the School of Nursing.
