Wilson Mendes passed away May 30, 2023. Mr. Mendes was a current student and staff member with the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at UBC.
Pieter Swart

Associate Professor Pieter Swart passed away May 25, 2023. Professor Swart was a current faculty member in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics.
Valeriy Kichenko

Valeriy Kichenko passed away May 22, 2023. Mr. Kichenko served as a current staff member (Technician) in the Environmental Services Facility.

Professor Emeritus James Murray passed away May 15, 2023. Dr. Murray taught in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences.
