The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Friday, March 5, 2021 in remembrance. Professor Emerita P. Susan Penfold passed away on February 7, 2021. Dr. Penfold was a psychiatrist with BC Children’s Hospital and a professor at UBC Faculty of Medicine.
George Gray
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Wednesday, February 3 in remembrance. Associate Professor Emeritus George Gray passed away on January 17, 2021. Dr. Gray taught in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Michael Marker
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Wednesday, February 3 in remembrance. Associate Professor Michael Marker passed away on January 15, 2021. Dr. Marker was currently teaching in the Department of Educational Studies (EDST) as an associate Professor and he was the Coordinator of the Ts’’kel Program.
Rayleen Nash
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Wednesday, February 3 in remembrance. Ms. Rayleen Nash passed away on December 6, 2020. Ms. Nash worked at UBC for over 25 years, and joined the 25 Year Club in 1991.
Constance Isherwood
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Wednesday, February 3 in remembrance. Dr. Constance Isherwood passed away on January 26, 2021. Dr. Isherwood received her Honorary Degree from UBC in 2015.

The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Wednesday, January 21 in remembrance. Dr. Kathleen Heddle passed away on January 11, 2021. Dr. Heddle received her Honorary Doctorate of Laws Degree from UBC in 2004.
Leanne Dahlgren
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered Wednesday, January 21 in remembrance. Dr. Leanne Dahlgren passed away on December 21, 2020. Dr. Dahlgren was currently teaching as an Assistant Professor, Grant Tenure with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at BC Children’s Hospital.
