Gillian Willis
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered on Friday June 26, in remembrance. Ms. Gillian Willis passed away on December 23, 2019. Gillian worked in Pharmaceutical Science and was inducted 25 Year Club in 2003.
Edison Sinanan
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered on Friday June 26, in remembrance. Dr. Edison Sinanan passed away on December 27, 2019. He was an Assistant Professor Emeritus with the Department of Surgery.
Hans-Karl Piltz

National Day of Mourning
The Canada flag (at Flag Pole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered on Tuesday, April 28, in recognition of the National Day of Mourning, to remember lives lost in the workplace and resolve to prevent future tragedies.
David Quastel
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) will be lowered on Thursday, March 12, in remembrance. Professor Emeritus David Quastel passed away on February 28, 2020. Dr. Quastel taught in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics and was inducted into the Quarter Century club in 1996.
