The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Friday, November 1, in remembrance. Associate Professor Jennifer Kryworuchko passed away on October 25, 2019. Dr. Kruyworuchko was active faculty in the School of Nursing.
William Logan
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Friday, November 1, in remembrance. Professor Emeritus William Logan of the Department of Curriculum Studies passed away on October 22, 2019.
John William Schrader

Patricia Proudfoot
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Friday, November 1, in remembrance. The Hon. Madam Justice Patricia Proudfoot, O.C. passed away on October 9, 2019. Dr. Proudfoot received an Honourary degree from UBC in 1994.
Edward Matte
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Friday, November 1, in remembrance. Associate Professor Emeritus Edward Matte passed away on September 9, 2019. Dr. Matte taught French in the Faculty of Arts.
Alan Richardson
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Friday, November 1, in remembrance. Associate Professor Emeritus Alan Richardson of the Faculty of Dentistry passed away on September 7, 2019.
William Aiello
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, October 10, in remembrance. Professor Willian Aiello, passed away on October 1, 2019. Prof. Aeillo was the current Academic Director of the UBC Academic Leadership Development Program at UBC and a Professor of Computer Science.
David Axen
The BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) will be lowered on Thursday, October 10, in remembrance. Professor Emeritus David Axen passed away on September 11, 2019. Dr. Axen taught in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and joined the Quarter Century Club in 1996.
