The Canada flag (at Flagpole Plaza), BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) as well as the Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC Flags at UBC Okanagan will be lowered on Thursday, November 11, in recognition of Remembrance Day.
The UBC Remembrance Day ceremony is being held as a hybrid event in the War Memorial Gym on the Vancouver campus. All UBC students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend the ceremony to honour and remember all those who served in times of war, military conflict and peace.
